Being part of a takeover and brand transformation into Virgin Money. This is a fast-paced working enviroment, where critital thinking and decision making is most important. Leading a product feature team to launch a react webapp that will integrate with the bank’s cisco telephony system. This will be used to help our agents to service customer as they call in.

Working for Arnold Clark allows me to help car buyers and owners in Scotland gets the most out of their car buying experience. Introduced physical web technology to the company using low powered bluetooth devices, to provide customer insights at the retail showrooms, and engagement possibilities.

Influenced the teams to adopt GitHub’s Flow approach for developments, using branch-based workflow that supports developers and projects where deployments can happen regularly letting the projects iterate faster.

I use to run a guild in the department named “JavaScript Happy Fun Times”, where we would do a show and tell of anything interesting they have found, knowledge sharing & team building session from members across different teams.

Joined the first Google partner company in UK for Google’s map licensing and services. Developing rich web applications to visualise sets of locations data with the use of the Google Maps API library.

Lead the adoption of front-end MV* development techniques using Backbone.js and Marionette.js internally, helped developers to understand the benefits of decoupling static frontend from backend, for the inhouse application stack that runs on RoR. Established and maintain the workflow and debugging methods, with an ever changing numbers of tools we use for front-end development. Which currently is a combination of node.js packages, gulp, browserify, karma, plus many others. Brought progressive enhancement responsive practices and approach for web applications that can be viewed on mobile devices, providing a better user experience for smaller devices. Maintaining documentations and provide code reviews for projects on organisation’s Github repositories. Transform requirements to wireframe interactive demo, coordinated with project managers for technical specs and deliverables. Developed excellent working relationships with project managers and developers among the team.

Buzz Agency is a creative studio that focuses on brand identity, helping clients to deliver engaging message to people through various mediums. I’ve joint the team as a web developer to provide digital services.

Working closely with designers and creative directors from brainstorming session to website launches throughout development stages. Maintaining Websites hosting and change requests. Building web 2.0 websites and ensuring they pass the w3c validation standards, develop towards a better SEO structured contents and cross browser-compatibility. Analysed metrics on conversion, visit volumes, bounces, etc. Identifying potential opportunities or issues a website is having. Handling client’s request and queries, providing training session on e-commerce type businesses & blog posts management.
